Jeffery Allen Ainsworth, 53, beloved husband, daddy, "Papa Bear", son, brother, uncle and friend passed away at his home on May 28, 2021, after a lengthy illness from being disabled by a major stroke in August of 2018.

He is survived by his bride of 29 years, Leigh-Anne Easom Ainsworth, his dearly loved family: children Abigail, Callie, Cade, Betsy and Lazarius(daughter-in-law Rachel); precious grandchildren - Neveah, Malachi, Jolee, Elley, Cleo and Arlo; his mother Norma Ainsworth, brother Timothy Allen Ainsworth; nephews - Brock and Hunter, nieces - Brittany and Julia, his Aunt Pat Cargile, Uncle Jerry Feroben, along with other extended family members all very dear to him. Jeff was born January 30, 1968 in Jackson, Mississippi to Kimble Allen Ainsworth and Norma Jean Feroben Ainsworth. He grew up in south Jackson and graduated from Wingfield High School, class of 1986, where he served as the captain of their winning football team and was elected "Mr. Wingfield" by his classmates that he loved and treasured throughout the remainder of his life. He earned his bachelor's degree in business from Mississippi College and soon afterward married his dear friend and Wingfield High School classmate, Leigh-Anne Easom, who had written in his senior yearbook that whoever married him would be the luckiest girl in the world! They established their home together in the Ross Barnett Reservoir farming community of Fannin, Mississippi, the sweet place where he cared for his family, raised his children, ran his 25 year company, Ainsworth Foundation Repair Company from, and would call home for the rest of his life. "LORD, You have assigned me my portion and my cup; You have made my lot secure. The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; surely I have a delightful inheritance." Psalm 16:5-6

Jeff was once asked what he wanted his greatest life accomplishment to be and he answered that he had accomplished the greatest thing ever by pointing his children to Jesus Christ to be their Lord and Savior and to teach them His Word.

"...He said to them, "Strive to enter in through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will seek to enter in and will not be able to." Mark 13:23-24
"I am the door, whoever enters through Me shall be saved and shall go in and out, and find pasture." John 10:9

Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5:00pm until 7:00pm and again on Wednesday from 10:00am until the 11:00am service all at Wright and Ferguson in Flowood. Burial will follow in the Fannin Baptist Church Cemetery.
