Philbert Allen Axton

Philbert Allen Axton, 73, of Brandon passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2021 at his home following a battle with cancer. A funeral Mass will be held at 1:00pm on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at St. Paul Catholic Church Flowood with Fr. Gerry Hurley officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeland Place Garden Park.
Phil was a retired FVP from Trustmark Bank after 45 years of banking operations. He was a US Army Veteran, a loving Husband, Father, Nephew, Uncle, Cousin and Friend.
He was preceded in death by his parents Philbert L. Axton of Jackson and Louise Polk Wheeler of Raymond.
Phil is survived by his beloved wife Kathleen Farrior Axton; three sons Kevin (Jill) of Brandon, Chris (Sally) of Amory and Tim of Brandon and eight grandchildren.
