Wilma Lykins
Primm
February 7, 1932 – April 18, 2025
How do you sum up a life of 93 years in a few paragraphs? Wilma was so many things: an avid gardener, a passionate tennis player, and an elder in her church. But to us, she was Mom, the strongest, most courageous woman we have ever known, and the center of our world. Every day, she prayed for and loved us unconditionally in a way that some never know.
We grieve for the loss of her presence in our lives, but we celebrate her life spent serving others and our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. It is fitting that she went to be with Jesus on Good Friday.
Wilma Lykins Primm was born on February 7, 1932, in Hamilton, OH, the daughter of Joseph W. and Eva Lykins. She was a preacher's kid and the baby of five siblings. She is preceded in death by the love of her life, Robert L. Primm, and is survived by her three daughters: Keven Kern and her daughters Sperri Strickland (Nick) and Cameron Howard (Matt); Karen Godfrey (Mike) and their daughters Bracey Godfrey and Josey Kate Dewberry (Vance); Kelly White (Joe) and their children Lauren Magnan (Tony), Kaitlyn Clemons (Ty), and Joey White (Brittany); and twelve great-grandchildren.
Wilma left an immeasurable inheritance of love for her family and God. We will strive to honor her by paying forward this matchless gift.
"So, we will fix our eyes not on what is seen, but what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary; but what is unseen is eternal." (2 Corinthians 4:18)
