William was a man that loved God with all his heart, soul, strength and mind. He was born on September 2, 1949 in Hutchinson, Kansas. His mother is a wonderful piano/organ player and teacher. He grew up with that love of music. After graduating from high school, William served with honor in the United States Navy. After that is when he began his life long journey to know the truth of God's Word and to be His faithful servant.
William played blues in New Orleans, LA with Bryan Lee & the Jump Street Five and that is where he met his wife of 30 years, Linda. They moved to Mississippi 22 years ago and he worked for Ameristar Casino until recently retiring. He had many plans for retirement, finally having time to write a book on the Book of James was one of his most important desires.
William left his imprint on the lives of all those that knew him. His persona was engaging to everyone he met. He will be greatly missed by all those that had the privilege to know him and be impacted by his faith.
Preceded in death by father Walter Eugene White Sr. and half brother Everett White.
William is survived by his wife of 30 years, Mrs. Linda Ann "McCord" White of Edwards, MS, mother Eugenea "Boeken" White, brother, Walter White Jr. of Hutchinson, KS, sons Ethan Michael and Joshua Gabriel of Austin, TX.
