William Walter "Mike" Daniel, Sr., 87 of Clinton, MS passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2024. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2024 from 11:00am until 12:00pm at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home in Clinton, MS. A Graveside service will follow at 12:30pm at the Clinton Cemetery.

Mike was born on January 15, 1937 to Denver and Bernice Colene Daniel. He graduated from Pineville High School and then in 1956 joined the United States Airforce. After his time in the Airforce, he moved to Jackson where he met Wanda Jenkins and in 1967, they were married. Together they spent the next 30 years operating and growing Funtime Skateland. Mike was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend and will always be remembered by everyone who loved him.

Mike was preceded in death by his wife Wanda Jenkins Daniel; parents Denver Daniel and Bernice Colene Webb, brothers Doyle Daniel, Benette Daniel and Clevie Daniel.

He is survived by his daughter Lesia Daniel Hollingshead (Keith); son William Walter Daniel, Jr. (Mikki Leigh); grandchildren Katie Scully (Kray), Kyle Singleton, Becca Hegstrom (Blake), Emma Daniel, James Daniel, Jet Daniel, Janie Hollingshead (Rachel) and Kristen Cherry (Will) and great grandchildren Emmie, Addy, Camilla, Connalie, Claire and Jordy; sisters Winnie Harrison, Margaret McCaffrey, Pansy Martin, Gwen Daniel and Deone Tisdale.
