William Dean Hawthorne, Sr (Bill), age 79, of Jackson, Mississippi passed away Wednesday, March 10, 2021.

He is preceded in death by his son, Will Hawthorne, Junior.

He is survived by his wife, Ann, and daughters: Meg Hawthorne, Sarah Seabrook, and Caroline McIntosh. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren: Ann Louise, Pat, Anderson, Ella, Will, Ann Caroline, and Sarah Margaret.

Bill was a retired investment banker from Trustmark National Bank. His greatest pride was his family and the time he spent with them. He found great joy in his children and grandchildren. In addition, he enjoyed being in the outdoors gardening, hunting, and fishing. He was a talented woodworker, a devoted fan of the LSU Tigers, as well as an avid Sudoku and Crossword solver.

Visitation will be held from 2pm – 4pm Sunday, March 14 at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home in Flowood. A private graveside service for the family will be held Monday, March 15.
