William "Bill" F. Montgomery, 62, passed away on November 25, 2022. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Monday, November 28, 2022 with visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m. at Edwards Baptist Church in Edwards. Graveside services will follow at Edwards Cemetery.

Bill was born on January 12, 1960 to Barbara and Sonny Montgomery of Edwards. He grew up and spent most of his life in Edwards and graduated from REBUL Academy in 1978. He started to work for the family business with his dad and has since become owner of H&M Gas Company. He was also a member of LP Gas Association.

Bill was a member of Edwards Baptist Church where he served as deacon and church treasurer. He was an avid fisherman in the Media Bass Circuit with his longtime partner Brian McHann.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents and nephew, Nic McHann.

Bill is survived by his wife of 43 years, Linda Ferguson Montgomery; son, Todd Montgomery (Catherine); grandchildren, Henry and Sam Montgomery; sisters, Jennifer Stuart and Jane McHann (Brian); brothers, Monty Montgomery (Susan) and Jeff Montgomery (Gail); many nieces and nephews.
