William H. (Billy) Caldwell, 74, of Braxton, MS, formally of Sardis, MS, passed away February, 21, 2023 from kidney failure.

Billy, born on April, 21, 1948 to Lillian Mack and Claude Russell Caldwell and grew up in Marks, MS. He was a career HVAC technician and electrician. He also served in the Navy and the National Guard.

Billy is survived by his children; Robin, her spouse, and William (Brandy); stepchildren; Wendy Huckaby and Tammy Mills; grandchildren; Reagan, Payne, Katelyn, Hailey, Noah and Anabelle and greatgrandchildren; Canaan, Kali and Charleigh; brother Russell and sister Lilly.  He is predeceased by his wife Nickie Williams, and his parents Lillian and Claude Russell.

Billy loved refinishing furniture, carpentry and especially his dogs. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish, deer and turkey hunt. In keeping with his wishes, there will be no public service, but a small family gathering to spread his ashes over his favorite hunting spot. In honor of Billy, the family asks for donations to the American Cancer Society.
