William Howard "Bill" Patterson, Jr., a beloved soul known for his vibrant spirit and boundless charm, passed away peacefully in Ellisville, Mississippi. Born in Jackson, Bill was a character all his own—fun-loving, endlessly social, and never one to meet a stranger. His love of old rock and roll music and cruising through town were matched only by his passion for anything involving cheese.

Bill delighted those around him with his wit and playful nature. A self-proclaimed ladies' man, he charmed many "girlfriends" throughout his life and lovingly planned countless weddings for them—each filled with joy and imagination.

He will be remembered not only for the laughter he inspired but for the joy he brought to those who had the honor of knowing and caring for him. Survivors include his mother, Clare L. Patterson; brothers David Patterson and his wife Sandra, and John Patterson and his wife Tina; along with a host of cherished nieces and nephews. Bill was preceded in death by his father, William H. Patterson.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated caregivers at Ellisville State School, RSI, Elmwood, and Jones County Rest Home. A very special thank you goes to Jennifer Hathorne, whose unwavering care and kindness touched Bill's life in the most meaningful way.

Bill Patterson lived life with sparkle, humor, and a heart wide open. His memory will dance on through every rock anthem and cheesy delight.
