William (Bill) Douglas Burch, 84, left his earthly home on Sunday June 9, 2024, at St. Dominic-Jackson Memorial Hospital.  Visitation will be held Friday, June 14th, at 11:00 am with services following at 1:00 pm, all at First Baptist Church of Fannin.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Bill was born in Prichard, AL on September 13, 1939, the son of Albert and Minnie Burch.  His primary love in life was spending time with his family, especially his beloved wife, Belinda. He always looked forward to visiting with his grandchildren and great grandchildren when he had the opportunity.  His other passion was the love of the outdoors.  He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing of all types. He served in the United States Air Force for a short time and then began his lifelong career in sales, a career he would continue until his recent passing.  Bill excelled in sales due to his love of meeting people. He literally never met a stranger and was fortunate to make new friends daily.

Besides his parents, he is predeceased by his siblings, Jimmy, Cullen, and Gloria.  He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Belinda; his sons and daughters-in-law, Billy & Chrissie Burch and Brian & Jennifer Burch; his seven grandchildren, Josh Burch, Jordan Burch, Hannah Davis, Chandler Burch, Millie Castle, Brianne Wartes, and Brooke Burch; and seven great grandchildren, Jayden, Cam, Jaylen, Braleigh, Kinsley, Sophie, and Edith.

Wright and Ferguson Flowood will be directing.
