William Andrew (W.A.) Dodson, 82, of Utica, MS died July 22 at the Veteran's Home in Jackson, MS. He was born February 13, 1933 in Utica at the home place where he resided most of his life. He was preceded in death by his wife Patty Banes Dodson of Raymond, MS, his parents, Everett and Josie Stevens Dodson of Utica, his brother Everett Dodson and his sister Lanell Dodson both of Utica. He leaves children Larry (Hope) Dodson, Sherry (Guy) Barnett, Marty (Debbie) Dodson, Debbie Padgett, Scottee (Carol) Dodson, 9 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home on Friday morning, July 24 from 9:00 AM until 10:30 AM with chapel services beginning at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow at the Raymond Cemetery. Revs. Scottee Dodson and Marvin Curtis will officiate.
