Obituary

Wesley Franklin Holsapple II was born on January 6, 1962, in Fayetteville, North Carolina; and subsequently grew up living in Greensboro, North Carolina, Nashville, Tennessee, Columbia, South Carolina and Brandon, Mississippi.

After moving to Mississippi, Wes joined the Dale Carnegie organization excelling in sales and training seminars throughout the Mississippi territory.  This experience enabled Wes to start his own company, BDS (Business Development Solutions) where he collaborated with other professionals to help businesses through coaching and professional development. This led Wes to purchase the BNI (Business Network International) franchise for Mississippi and serve as the Executive Director, starting 46 chapters with more than 950 clients.  He was also a contributing author of the New York Times and Wall Street Journal best seller, Masters of Networking.  Wes partnered with Downtown Jackson Partners on the creation of Venture Incubator, a non-profit organization which helped small start-up businesses organize and flourish.  Wes founded Emboldened3 to continue serving as a business consultant and coach.  Lastly, Wes worked with the Mississippi State Department of Health in Emergency Planning and Preparedness as a Training Coordinator.

"Dear", "Dad", "Pop" loved his family and spending time in the great outdoors hunting, fishing, hiking, and camping.  He especially enjoyed the road trips to the Smokey Mountains.  Wes also enjoyed seeing people excel with their personal and business goals.  Wes and Sherrie attended Broadmoor Baptist Church and Pinelake Church.

Wes is survived by his wife of 36 years Sherrie Murphy Holsapple of Brandon, MS; his daughters Rhonda Rhoden (Chad) and Skye Cole (Chris) all of Madison, MS; parents Wes and Pauline Holsapple of Madison, MS; his two sisters Paula Howard (Mark) of Madison, MS; and Susan Bright (Brandon) of Tylertown, MS; Pop's "grand-favorites" Luke, Briley, Ellis, and Allie; and three nieces, Karli, Haley, and Sophia and one nephew, John; and many more extended family.
