Wanda Jenkins Daniel, 77 of Clinton, MS passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2022. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2022 from 10:00am until 11:00am at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home in Clinton, MS. Funeral services will follow at 11:00am. A Graveside will be held at the Clinton Cemetery.

Wanda was born on September 13, 1945 to Herbert and Flora Jenkins. She graduated from Pontotoc High School and attended Itawamba Community College. After moving to Jackson to work at a bank, she convinced her father to move the family to Clinton and build a roller skating rink.  Funtime Skateland was founded in December 1971. Wanda spent 30 years operating and growing Funtime. She was a member of Pinelake Church in Clinton. She loved reading and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents Herbert Jenkins and Flora Ball Jenkins, brothers Herbert G. Jenkins and Travis Jenkins; sisters Yvette Jenkins, Janice Sexton and Jeanette Wright.

She is survived by her husband William Walter (Mike) Daniel; daughter Lesia Daniel Hollingshead (Keith); son William Walter Daniel, Jr. (Mikki Leigh); grandchildren Katie Scully (Kray), Kyle Singleton (Tori), Becca Hegstrom (Blake), Emma Daniel, James Daniel, Jet Daniel, Janie Hollingshead (Rachel) and Kristen Cherry (Will) and great grandchildren Emmie, Addy, Camilla, Connlie, Eli, Ella with new additions Claire and Baby H. on the way.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
