W. L. "Doug" Anderson, 83, died Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at The Arbor in Ridgeland. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at Raymond Cemetery in Raymond, MS.

Mr. Anderson was a lifelong resident of Hinds County and a faithful Baptist since age 6. He was baptized at age 8 in the Raymond Baptist Church and reaffirmed during a Billy Graham Crusade in Jackson during the 60's. He was a Royal Ambassador at the church and a Boy Scout. He also liked to follow his sports teams and horse racing.

W. L. graduated from Hinds Jr. College and Mississippi College. He served in the Army National Guard. He was retired after thirty years of service with Entergy. He lived in Little Rock for 5 years and also travelled the country from coast to coast extensively for Entergy as an Auditor/Trainer/Consultant.

W. L. was preceded in death by his father, mother, two brothers and one sister. He is survived by a number of nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
