Virginia Ann White Coats, 82, passed away peacefully at her home on March 25, 2026, in Raymond, Mississippi, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on December 30, 1943, in Toccopola, Mississippi, Virginia was the daughter of Moody White and Vivian Daniel. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister whose life was defined by her deep faith and unwavering love for her family.

Virginia shared 62 wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Earl J. Coats of Linn, Mississippi. Together, they built a life rooted in love, commitment, and family.

She is survived by her children: Steve (Brenda) Coats, Pam (Craig) Lowe, and Renee (Chris) Cockerill. She also leaves behind seven grandchildren and their spouses, as well as 17 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense joy and pride. She is also survived by her sisters, Bernice Moore, Barbara Nesbit, and Lynn Eggert, and was preceded in death by her sister, Alice Hodges.

Virginia was a woman of strong faith who lived her life with kindness, grace, and compassion. She faithfully served her community through her church and by helping with the local food pantry, always willing to lend a hand to those in need. She cherished time with her family above all else, and her legacy of love will continue to live on in each of them.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
