Ginger McNair Kilby, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 19, 2026, surrounded by her children and the collective love of all who knew her, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and kindness that will be cherished forever.

Ginger was devoted to her family above all else. She is survived by her daughter, Kate Raffaelle (John), along with their three children, Nick, Drew, and Graham. She is also survived by her son, Scott Kilby (Jodie), along with their two children, Hayes and Maggie; and by her son, Richard Kilby.

She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, H.R. Kilby; her mother, Louise McNair; and her father, Alden McNair.

Ginger dedicated many years of her life to education, serving most recently as a teacher at Raymond High School. She was passionate about her students and took pride in inspiring young minds, leaving a lasting impact on countless lives through her patience, wisdom, and encouragement.

A faithful member of Raymond Methodist Church, where she was deeply involved in her church community. She also recently served on the daycare board at Raymond Methodist Church, where she devoted her time and care to supporting children and families of the community.

Ginger found her greatest joy in the presence of her children and grandchildren. She was a constant source of warmth, encouragement, and wisdom, always offering a listening ear, a comforting word, and unwavering support. Her home was a place of gathering, great food, laughter, and love—a reflection of the generous spirit she carried throughout her life.

She will be remembered for her gentle heart, her resilience, her wit, and her deep devotion to those she loved. Ginger's legacy lives on in the lives of her children and grandchildren, who will carry forward her values, her compassion, and her enduring love.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
