Virginia Cage, 85, passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2017. Visitation for Ms. Cage will be held on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Wright and Ferguson in Raymond from 10:00am to 11:00am with a Service following at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Bethesda Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
Ms. Cage was born in Arkansas on May 28, 1932 to Thomas and Audie Godwin. She was a member of Bethesda Presbyterian church and taught Sunday School for many years. She retired from the Hunter Engineering Company and spent her time taking care of those she loved including her children and Grandchildren. Virginia also loved working outside and spending time taking care of her flowers.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, Son Dale Staggs, Brother Raymond Godwin and Sister Marcie Godwin.
She is survived by daughters Carolyn King (Jerry), Sandy Cage, Bobby Loyd (Lacy), Alene Lindsey (Kendell) and Alice Russell (William); Son James Staggs (Sheila); 10 Grandchildren and 18 Great Grandchildren.
