Vincent Arnold
Cain
May 9, 1956 – January 5, 2024
Mr. Vincent Arnold Cain, 67, died Friday, January 5, 2024, at his home in Raymond after a short battle with cancer. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 13, 2024 from the Raymond Chapel of Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home. The visitation will be between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Saturday. Interment will follow the service at the Sallis Cemetery in Attala County.
Born in Landstuhl, Germany, he was the devoted son of Lt. Col. James W. Cain and Kathryn L. Cain who both predeceased him. He originally moved to Raymond in 1973 and lived most of his adult life there. He was particularly proud of his many years as a Master Automobile Mechanic. He developed many lifelong friends through his career as a mechanic. He was a caring, honest man with a passion for good service and integrity. He also loved to hunt and to help on the family cattle farm in Choctaw County. He found great comfort in the knowledge of the certainty of his salvation through the love of Jesus.
Survivors include his two brothers, Jerry Cain of Madison and Roger Cain of Somerville, AL; his sister, Jackye Rose of North Carolina; three aunts, Iris Roy of Huntersville, NC, Francis White of Hope Mills, NC and Barbara Bean of Hot Springs, AR; and several nieces and nephews.
