Vicky Dawson Grubbs 62, passed away peacefully at home January 30, 2023 with family at her side.  She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Mark Grubbs, Brothers David A. Dawson III (Liz) and Leslie H. Dawson ( Audrey) , and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.  She is preceded in death by her parents, David A. Dawson, Jr. and Frances C. Dawson of McComb.

Vicky was a native of McComb, MS and a graduate of The University of Southern MS.  She worked in the insurance industry for 20 years and then was owner operator with her husband of Terry Road Tire and Alignment in Jackson for 18 years.  She was an avid golfer that absolutely loved playing the game and a very creative person of art.  Her sense of humor and quick wit was second to none. She was a "fireball" of personality.

A celebration of her life will be at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home Friday February 3, 2023 with visitation from 10:00 am till 12:00 and service immediately following in the chapel. A Special thank you to Hospice Ministries and all the many friends and family for the outpouring of support.
