Veronica Jeanne Lavoie passed away at Baptist Hospital in Jackson, MS on February 11, 2022, at the age of 57. She is the daughter of Thomas R. Lavoie and Donna L. Thyng Lavoie of Raymond, MS.

She is survived by her son, Jason C. Lavoie of Raymond, MS; and her sister, Theresa I. Lavoie of Clinton, MS.

The family wishes to sincerely thank the staff of the Baptist Hospital and the Covid Surgical ICU for their care and understanding. Additionally, to thank the active ministry and especially Fr. Matthew Simmons of St. Peter the Apostle Cathedral of Jackson, MS for the administration of the Last Rites of the Church prior to her passing. We will be forever grateful.
