Tyler Simmons Conerly, III, passed away peacefully at his home on December 10, 2022 at the age of 61. He was born February 1, 1961 in Jackson, MS to his parents, Tyler Conerly, Jr. and Lynn Hughes Conerly. He graduated from Clinton High School in 1979 and attended Auburn University and Mississippi State University. After college, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps followed by an extended stint in the United States Marine Corps Reserves. He lived in Richland and worked for Rankin County School District.

Tyler was preceded in death by his father, Tyler Simmons Conerly, Jr.; and his sister, Susan Conerly Ramos.

He is survived by his sons, Spencer Conerly, Joseph Templeton and Jared Conerly; his mother, Lynn Hughes Conerly; his grandson, Caleb Nix; his brother, William Conerly (Lana); and his nephew, Andrew Conerly.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at First United Methodist Church in Clinton, MS.
