Thomas E. Ruffin's Obituary
Thomas E. Ruffin, 78, passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2014. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 5 to 7:30 pm at Wright and Ferguson in Clinton with memorial services following on Friday at 2:00 pm at the First United Methodist Church of Clinton.
Mr. Ruffin was born January 9, 1936 in New Augusta, MS to the late William and Lucille Ruffin. He was a graduate of University of Southern Mississippi. He served his country in the United States Navy. He had worked as a real estate appraiser for over 40 years and he was involved in youth sports in the Clinton area. He was an avid hunter and he loved to fish. His lifes work was his children and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of nearly 50 years, Jackie and his brother Billy. He is survived by his three children, Randy Stacey, Kristi Bob, and Keith Tina seven grandchildren, Nicky, Amie Matthew, Kelsey, Brady, Peyton, Riley and Mitchell and two great grandchildren Shelby and Charlotte and also by his siblings, Sarah Pearl, Ann, Louie, Charles, and Danny.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to First United Methodist Church of Clinton or American Cancer Society .
