Thomas H. McAdory passed away peacefully on March 17, 2017 at the VA Hospital Hospice Center. He was born July 4, 1934, in Noxapater, MS to Lamar and Lillie McAdory. After graduating from high school he proudly served his country as a member of the Air Force during the Korean War. He worked for Caldwell Manufacturing Company for 40 years and served as the plant manager at the Jackson location until his retirement.

Thomas was an avid golfer and loved spending time with family and friends. He was a loving husband and wonderful father. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Clinton where he lived for over 45 years.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife of over 58 years, Ann McAdory; his daughters, Kathy Love (Tim) of Clinton, MS, Linda Loyd (Robert) of Louisville, MS, and Jane Scallan (Greg) of West Monroe, LA ; 6 grandchildren, Christopher Moore (Elizabeth), Amanda Long (John Adam ), Larry Loyd (Britany), Alexandra Chamblee (Austin), Amber McGee (Walt) and Abbi Scallan; 7 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Estelle Chiles, his brother, Robert McAdory, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lamar and Lillie McAdory; sister, Eileen Edmonson; brothers, Roy and Billy McAdory; and great grandson, Robert Loyd, Jr.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 20, 2017, from 5 to 7pm at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home in Clinton. Funeral Services celebrating Thomas' life will be held on Tuesday, March 21, 2017, at 2pm with visitation beginning one hour prior to service at First Baptist Church of Clinton. Graveside services will follow at Terry Cemetery.

We would like to thank his personal caretaker, Tina Lee, and all the doctors, nurses and staff at the VA Hospital Hospice Center for all the care and compassion during his final days.
