Theresa Ann Cox Burghard went home to the Lord on January 9, 2022.
Her parents were James Milton Cox Sr. and Annie Ouida Houston Cox. Her husband was Ralph Johnson Burghard. She is survived by her son Ralph David Burghard, her brother Norman Houston Cox, sister-in-law Barbara Saul Cox (wife of Norman), sister-in-law Susan Elizabeth McNair Cox (wife of her late brother Hunter Linwood 'Woody' Cox) and various cousins, nieces and their children.
Theresa was born in 1932 and lived mostly in the Raymond/Jackson MS area. She worked as a professional legal assistant for a corporate law office in Jackson and after retirement, enjoyed growing orchids, reading and watching movies on TV. The Lord called her home while resting at home with her son by her side.
She will be buried in the Clinton, MS Cemetery on Jan 12, 2022 at 11:00am. Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home will be in charge of her graveside service.
