Theo Farish Bridges, Jr. (T.F.), 71, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 19, 2023, at Baptist Hospital with his family at his side. A Celebration of his Life will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, February 24, 2023 at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home in Flowood with Father Augustine Palimattam officiating. Inurnment will be at St. Richard Catholic Church Columbarium, Lynnwood Drive, Jackson, MS.

T.F. was born on October 28, 1951, in Louisville, MS to Theo F. Bridges and Ilene Bane Bridges. He worked for over 25 years with Care and Maintenance of City Buildings for the City of Jackson as a HVAC mechanic. He told wonderful stories of famous people he met while working productions at the City Auditorium.

T.F.  loved his family and was affectionately known as "Tbot" to his four grandchildren.  Married as teenagers in 1969, he and Theresa Daly spent 54 beautiful years together and often laughed when remembering that everybody said their marriage would not survive.  He was a big practical joker and played his games and tricks on everybody. He loved being outdoors and loved hunting, fishing and riding his Harley.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Gerald Bridges.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife, Theresa Bridges; son, Bradley Bridges (Sophie); daughter, Jennifer Spell (Randy); grandchildren, Skylar and Rhett Spell and Ella and Emily Bridges; and sisters, Bettye Cox (Cary) and Donna Bell (Jim).

Honorary pallbearers are Rhett Spell, Matthew Stewart, Paul Haley, Jim Bell, Anthony Farmer, and Cary Cox.  In lieu of flowers, please give to the charity of your choice in T.F.'s name.
