Terry Lee Boen, age 68, passed away Saturday, July 23, 2022 at his home in Richland, Mississippi.  Terry was born on December 8, 1953 to Archie Colby Boen and Julie Anita "Judy" Boen in Scottsburg, Indiana.  He was the oldest of three children.

Terry was a member of the Mississippi National Guard, 162 ^nd Military Police Company in Crystal Springs, Mississippi from 1972 to 1981.  He retired from the Union National Life Insurance Company in 2011.  Terry was also a minister at Gospel Chapel in Richland, Mississippi.  He loved his family greatly and enjoyed spending time with his two grandsons.  He is remembered for his enthusiastic preaching and his love for playing music at his church.

Terry is survived by his wife, Judy, of 46 years; son, Nicholas Eugene Boen, his wife Jennifer Boen, and grandsons, Cooper Lee Boen and Eli Clark Boen (Star); brother Jerry Michael Boen, wife Jacqueline Boen (Florence); sister, Sherry Green, husband, Byron Green (Star); and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Archie Colby Boen and Julie Anita "Judy" Boen.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home in Flowood, Mississippi.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at Gospel Chapel, 1550 Highway 49, Richland, Mississippi at 10:30 a.m. with visitation beginning one hour prior to service. Burial will follow at Glenwood Cemetery in Richland, Mississippi.
