Teresia Strong Blackmon, 62, passed away on Monday, July 1, 2024. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, July 5, 2024 at Bethesda Presbyterian Church in Edwards with visitation beginning at 2 p.m. A graveside service will follow at Bethesda Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

Teresia was born on February 3, 1962 to Bill and Maude Strong. She attended REBUL Academy in Learned. She enjoyed flowers, music, humming birds, reading and history.  She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Teresia was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Edward Blackmon; her parents; her sisters, Sue Ann Williams and Mary Margaret Burch; her brothers, James "Jimmy" Strong and David Strong.

She is survived by her children, Rachel Whatley Cessna (Jess) of Learned, Elizabeth Kate Blackmon of Edwards, and Lee Austin Birdsong of Bolton; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Claire Cessna, Jessa Camille Cessna, Eli Edward Babb and Genesis Makenzie Babb; her brother, Joe Strong; and numerous nieces and nephews.
