Susan Croxton Morris, 69, passed away at her home on Wednesday, April 3, 2024. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 5, 2024 with visitation beginning at 12:30 p.m. before the service at Hinds Independent Methodist Church in Raymond. A graveside service will follow at Reeves Chapel Cemetery.

Susan was born on November 3, 1954 in Jackson, MS to Cary and Velma Lucille Croxton. She graduated from Wingfield High School in 1972. She also earned her nursing degree form Hinds Community College. Before becoming a nurse, Susan worked as hairdresser.  She was a registered nurse for over 15 years at Merit Health Central in Jackson.

Susan was always eager to learn and was passionate about flowers and tropical fish. She was a member for 12 years with Mississippi Good Time Kruzers. She was also a member of Hinds Independent Methodist Church in Raymond.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents; Cary and Velma Lucille Croxton.

She is survived by her husband, Clayton Morris; her children, Carrie Morris Miller (Jeff) and Austin Morris (Jennifer); and her grandchildren, Taylor Miller, Sierra Miller and Kegan Peschke.
