Steve Dykman, age 69, passed away peacefully Friday March 6th, 2026, in Clinton, Mississippi.

Steve is survived by his wife of 45 years, Kay; his children Brad (Shelley) Dykman, Erin (Raymond) Stephens, and Madison (Colbey) Robichaux all of Clinton along with his grandchildren Jax and Cade Dykman; Colton, Emersyn, and Avery Stephens; Olivia Robichaux and was excited to welcome Campbell Robichaux in May. He is also survived by his siblings Jackie Ford, Jimmy (Kay) Dykman, and Stan (Jennifer) Dykman along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Steve was born on January 27th, 1957, in Jackson, MS to Jack and Vermell Dykman who proceeded him in death. He graduated from Wingfield High School in 1976. He attended Plumbing trade school, a career he worked in for 50 years.

He was a devoted member of Bolton Methodist Church. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. An active and social man, he enjoyed maintaining his property and gardens. Nothing brought him more joy than spending time with his children and grandchildren who affectionately knew him as Grumpy.

He will be remembered for his generosity, kindness and work ethic. His legacy will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, forever remembered and always loved.

A visitation is scheduled for Wednesday March 11th from 5-7pm at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home in Clinton. The funeral is Thursday March 12th at 11 o'clock with a visitation starting at 10. Davis Winstead will officiate. Interment will follow at Bolton Cemetery. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Steve's life.
