Stanley Wayne Shearer

Stanley Wayne Shearer, 61, of Raymond, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on October 29, 2026, surrounded by his family.

Stan was born in Jackson, Mississippi. He spent his whole life working to provide for his wife and kids. He was a devoted husband for 40 years and an amazing papaw to his grandbabies.

Stan will be remembered with love by those who knew him best and by the family who shared in his life. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Carol A. Shearer; children, Danny Shearer (Shelley) and Brandy Quinn (Jared); two grandchildren, Noah and Anna Quinn; and brother, Michael Shearer.

Stan is preceded in death by his father, A.B. Shearer, mother, Loraine M. Shearer; and brothers, David Shearer and Donny Shearer.

In accordance with the families wishes, a small private service will be held to honor and celebrate his life at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home in Raymond on Tuesday, November 3, 2026. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Palestine Cemetery.
