Stacy Scott McEachern passed away at his home in Brandon, MS on June 13, 2025. He was a Rankin County resident having lived in Florence, MS for most of that time. He was born on February 26, 1966 in Jackson, MS to James and Harriet McEachern. Stacy graduated from Jim Hill High School in Jackson, MS. He received his bachelor's degree in accounting from Mississippi College and later went on to become a CPA. Although he didn't have children, he and his spouse had several furry babies that he dearly loved and spoiled like children. Cain, Chui and Boomer were three of those precious ones that made his life more enjoyable over the years. Stacy is preceded in death by his spouse, Kevin Bessonette, his parents and his sister Celia. He is survived by his brothers, Mike McEachern (Joanne), and Jim McEachern (Marilyn): his sisters Mary Lee Floyd (Tal), Gina Hobby (Chuck), Kristi Moore, Laurie Calhoun (Matt); as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A private memorial service will be held by the family. Donations in his memory can be made to the Mississippi Animal Rescue League.
