Sherry Morris- Montuori passed away Monday, April 10, 2023 at the age of 75 after a short battle with pancreatic cancer.

Ms. Montuori was the first born of Odell and Rubie Morris of Jackson, MS  August 29, 1947.

Sherry grew up in south Jackson.

Sherry attended Van Winkle Elementary School and graduated class of 1966 from Forest Hill High School.

Sherry was drum majorette for the Forest Hill Rebel band.

She worked for 32 years for Willowood Developmental Center in Jackson, MS where she was a supervisor of mentally handicapped adults. She helped hone their skills and developed their talents which improved their quality of life.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Rubie Hagan Morris; and her father, Horace Odell Morris,

She is survived by her sisters, Lori McWilliams of Brandon and Deborah Kern of Jackson, her brother, George Morris of Jackson, her niece, Shanna Haley of Madison, her nephews, Adam McWilliams of Madison and Glen Morris of Madison.

Services for Ms. Montuori will be Friday, April 14, 2023 at 11 am at Liberty Baptist Church, Flowood, MS
