Shelton M. Thomas ("Mike"), a resident of Clinton, MS passed away on January 25th, 2021 at the age of 63.

Mike is survived by his Wife, Debbie Thomas; his children Blake Thomas (Wife, Mary), Brad Thomas-deceased (Wife, Holley), and Brooke Rodgers (husband, Stephen), as well as his sister Ellen Argood (husband, Mike), and 10 grandchildren that he loved dearly.

Mike was born in Greenwood, MS on February 28th, 1957 to Laura and Shelton Thomas. He went on to marry the love of his life Debbie on April 23rd, 1977.He graduated from Mississippi College with a degree in business administration. He spent the majority of his career employed by Bell South where he was an IT director. For the last 16 years, he was a contract administrator at MDOT.

Mike was a loving and devoted husband, father,and grandfather. He had a love for golf and being in the woods. He was a man of character, hope, and was the life of the party. Most of all, he was a man who loved the Lord. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home in Clinton. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on February 5, 2021 at First United Methodist Church of Clinton.
