Sammie Lynn Dickerson, 82, passed away on Monday, April 25, 2022 in Jackson, MS. Visitation for Sammie will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2022 at Flora United Methodist Church from 11:00am to 1:00pm followed by a service at 1:00pm. Burial will be at the Flora City Cemetery.

Sammie was born on February 24, 1940 to Charles and Ladie Elaine Reardon. She attended the University Of Mississippi and then went on to receive a Bachelor's degree from Mississippi College. She was a member of Flora United Methodist and spent many years making floral arrangements and volunteering for her church. Sammie was always busy taking care of her yard and flowers, winning many yard of the month titles. She was an accomplished college trained concert pianist and was very proud to inspire her son and grandsons to become professional musicians. Sammie was a very loving mother, grandmother and friend and an inspiration to us all with her strength and kindness.

She was preceded in death by her parents Charles W. Reardon and Ladie Elaine Wells Reardon; daughter Ladie Elaine Riffle; brother Charles "Bull" Reardon and sisters Imogene Moppert, Rhoda Clark and Audrey Smylie.

She is survived her son Patrick Dickerson (Michelle); sister Berneda Wilkinson; grandsons Zachary Dickerson and Caleb Dickerson; son-in-law John Riffle and niece Emily Riffle.

Memorials may be made in Sammie's name to Flora United Methodist Church, 142 Carter St, Flora, MS 39071.
