Samantha Jones Prim 7/27/1939-8/29/2021
Samantha Jones Prim passed away peacefully August 29, 2021 in her home surrounded by love.
She leaves behind a sister Margaret Sweet of Colorado Springs, Colorado, her cousin Sally Zeegers of Orlando, Florida, sons Eric Prim (Katherine) of Fredericksburg, Virginia, Adam Prim of Jackson, Mississippi and daughter Paula Izadpanah (Anoosh) of Fairfax, Virginia and grand children Ashley, Kevin and Mason Izadpanah and Jared Prim.
Samantha retired from Hinds Community College and was known affectionately for her painting, writing and love of animals. She worked with a local vet to spay and neuter stray animals. She also cared deeply about feeding the hungry in Mississippi. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in her name to the Mississippi Food Network to help carry on her mission.
