Sally L. Hickok Scalf

Sally departed this world, Friday, September 20, 2024.  She was born June 11, 1938, in Illinois to Park and Madelyn Hickok.

Sally retired with Greentree Financial in 2002, where she worked as a financial officer in Jackson, Mississippi.

She had a love of horses from an early age. She help raise and show them in multiple horse shows and county fair events where she won multiple awards.  She loved to sew in her spare time making her and her children's clothes.

She is survived by two children, Jaye Scalf ( spouse, Janice), Jerilyn Smith (spouse, Mike Smith), sister, Marilyn Fouts, nephew Rod Fouts, niece Sherry Poat, nephew Brad Fouts, grandson Zachary Smith ( spouse, Katelyn), grandson, Dillion Johnson, granddaughter, Brittany Hager ( spouse, Kaleb), and 8 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Friday, October 4, at  Hurd-Hendrix Funeral Home in Knoxville, Illinois from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.  Graveside services will be held Saturday, October 5, at Knoxville Cemetery at 11:00 am.
