Obituary

Ruby J. "Blue" Noble passed away in Brentwood, TN on March 22, 2016. "Blue", as she was known to all, received her nickname early in her life due to her incredibly beautiful blue eyes. Blue was born on Valentine's Day, 1927 and grew up in Vicksburg, MS. She married Lindsay Noble, Jr. of Edwards in 1944 and the couple shared 71 years together before his passing last year. After World War II, the couple made their home in Edwards. In addition to raising four children, Blue owned several retail businesses in Edwards. She was a member of the Edwards Garden Club, but her real love was playing Bridge, a game that she continued until just a few months before her death.
After retiring, the couple took to the road and traveled in their motorhome all across the United States. After their days of traveling, they settled in Clinton, MS where they established lasting friendships with the people in their neighborhood. The couple moved to Brentwood, TN last April to be closer to family due to declining health.
Blue was preceded in death by her mother and father Carlyle K. Logue and Archie O. Logue, 6 brothers and 6 sisters, her husband John Lindsay Noble, Jr. and son Ronald Howard Noble.
She is survived by her children: Rip Noble (Pam) of Surgoinsville, TN, Rinne Hensley (Dana) of Brentwood, TN and Robyn Noble of Franklin, TN and daughter-in-law, Lindsey Noble of Edwards, MS. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren: J Noble, Brady Noble (Shanna), Erin McMullin, Sonny Noble, Andrew Noble (Blair), Evan Hensley and Cameron Hensley and 8 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers for the service include Brady Noble, Sonny Noble, Andrew Noble, Evan Hensley, Cameron Hensley and nephew, David Hosemann.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 25th at 10 am at the Edwards Cemetery with a service to follow at 11am at the Edwards Presbyterian Church. All are welcome to attend.
Donations may be made in her memory to the Edwards Presbyterian Church.
