Ruby Hardy Dawson, 95 died Thursday, February 24, 2022 at Clinton Healthcare Center.

She often stated that her greatest joy on earth was her family and the upbringing of her children and grandchildren and did so with unending love, devotion and spiritual guidance .

She was a faithful, loving member of Pocahontas Baptist Church and dearly loved her church family, Lord and Savior.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Joseph Vincent (Pete) Dawson.

She is survived by her five children, Dave Dawson (Lynda), Danny Dawson (Margaret), Judy Burns, Janice Russell (Randy), and Ricky Dawson (Amanda), eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

Visitation will be at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home in Clinton, MS on Sunday, February 27 from 2:00 - 4:00 and again Monday, February 28 from 10:00 - 11:00 with funeral immediately following.  Burial will be at Lakewood Cemetery on Clinton Blvd.
