Roy Stevens "Steven" Boney passed away on May 20, 2024 at the age of 59. A long-time resident of Flora and Clinton, he was known for his expertise in floral design.

He graduated from Tri-County Academy and attended Hinds Community College and Mississippi State University. He was employed by Central Wholesale Florist. Prior to his current role, he owned Bob's Florist in Jackson and worked at several other florists in the Jackson metro area.

Steven's unique floral creations, a testament to his creativity and skill, brought beauty and joy to countless weddings, Christmas celebrations, holidays, and other special occasions.

He is survived by his father, Steve Boney, his mother, Linda Boney, and his brother, Daniel.

A memorial service will be held on at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 24, 2024, at Damascus Baptist Church, 3964 MS Highway 22 in Flora, MS. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. at the church.
