Rosemary Sterk Tolsdorf Hood, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2025. Born on March 29, 1949, in Royal Oak, Michigan, Rosemary lived a fulfilling life grounded in faith, family, and service to others. She made her home in Brandon, Mississippi, where she has lived since 1979. Rosemary was preceded in death by her Second husband, Steve Procunier, and her parents, Paul and Elizabeth Sterk.

Known for her outgoing and vibrant personality, Rosemary loved traveling, spending time with her grandchildren, and being surrounded by family and friends. She was hardworking and dedicated, building a long career as an accountant for many local businesses in the Jackson area. A faithful member of St. Paul Catholic Church, she lived her life with grace, generosity, and kindness.

Rosemary will be greatly missed and always loved. Her warm spirit, joyful presence, and enduring love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, Jim Hood; her son, Andrew (Bea) Tolsdorf; she is the proud and loving grandmother to Caroline and Charlie Tolsdorf, who were the light of her life.
Rosemary is also survived by her bonus sons, Robin Hood and Jeff (Jaclyn) Hood; and bonus granddaughters Paige Hood and her children Connor and Grayson and Rylee Hood; her siblings: Judy Squires, Mary Lou (Lee) Miller, Kathleen (Ernie) Ingratta, and Jim Sterk.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 p.m.
