Ronald Lee Phillips, 79, passed away on September 9, 2025. He was a resident of Clinton, MS, since 2019. Prior to that, he was a longtime resident of Garland, Texas.

Ron was a man defined by kindness, humor, deep devotion to his family, and unwavering faith. He served the Lord with all his heart and took every opportunity to tell everyone he met about Jesus. He leaves behind a legacy of hard work and strong faith.

He loved to make people laugh by telling his famous jokes. He deeply loved his family and his God.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Sandra "Sandy" Kay Phillips; his sons, Scott (Becky) Phillips and Jason Phillips; his grandchildren, Keaton (Amy) Phillips, Nate (Hannah) Phillips, Noah (Ashlyn) Phillips; his great-grandchild, Laura Phillips; and his siblings, John (Carla) Phillips and Karen Schulz.

He was preceded in death by his father, R.C. Phillips; his mother, Doris Phillips; and his brother, Jimmy Phillips.

Ron's presence was a quiet strength. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who loved him.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at 9 a.m. at Springridge Pentecostal Church. The funeral service will follow at 10 a.m.
