Ronald M. Manning, 75, died Tuesday October 30, 2018. Visitation will be held on Friday beginning at 11:00 am followed by the service at 2:00 pm all at the Bolton United Methodist Church with burial following in the Bolton Cemetery.
Mr. Manning was born August 10, 1943 in Bolton the son of Marion and Virginia Manning. He graduated, Mr. Raymond High School in 1961, and attained his bachelor's degree from Mississippi State University in 1965. He spent the next two years in Korea with the Army Corp of Engineers, attaining the rank of Captain. Upon his return, he went to work for IBM and then he bought Jackson Wholesale Bait Company. He eventually owned Jackson Specialty Advertising, Inc. He was an avid outdoorsman spending many hours hunting, fishing, gardening, golfing and telling jokes.
He is survived by his bride of 51 years, Raye Harper Manning; his children, Angie Mosley (Buddy); Tiffaney Gregorich (Robert); and Ron II (Paige); four grandchildren, Jax, J.P., Haley and Ron III; two sisters, Diane Morse (David) and Merlene Hegwood (Joe).
