Roger Dale Hinton's Obituary
Roger Hinton, 62, retired owner of Breezeway Blinds and Shutters died Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at home after a lengthy illness. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2015 from 12-2 pm at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home in Raymond. Funeral services will be at 2 pm in the chapel. Burial will follow at Palestine Cemetery in Raymond.
Roger was born on December 28, 1952 to Tommie and Varie Hinton in Laurel, MS. He was an avid Ole Miss fan and his favorite hobby was fishing.
Roger married Pam Thames Hinton on November 8, 1972. They were married for 42 years. After retiring in July 2008 due to health problems, Roger and Pam moved to Petal, MS and lived there until he went to be with the Lord.
He is survived by his wife, Pam Hinton; his son, Joseph Bradley Hinton; his daughter, Kellie Renee Hinton Williamson; four grandchildren, Tyler Williamson, Taylor Hinton, Megan Hinton and Parker Hinton; brother, Carroll Hinton; sister-in-law. Darlene Hinton; two sisters, Jean Anderson and Joyce Flatt (Sid); and his mother, Varie Hinton.
