Robert Layne Foley, 61, of Brandon, MS passed away Monday, November 29, 2021 in the comfort of his own home.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 3, 2021 at 2:00pm with visitation from 1:00pm – 2:00pm at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home, Flowood, MS with Brother Gary K. Briden officiating.

Layne was born to Loretta Collins and the late Bobby Ray Foley on September 3, 1960, in Welch, West Virginia. He worked as a car salesman, furniture salesman, plumber's apprentice, and in the family's business with his wife. He was a jack of many trades and was passionate about everything he did. He always lived his life to the fullest. From bursting into song randomly, to striking up conversations with strangers, to jokingly trash talking with family and friends, he was always able to bring smiles and laughter to anyone around him. His quirks were what made him so fun to be around and impossible not to love.

He loved the outdoors and enjoyed golfing and fishing with his family and friends. He also loved everything LSU. He followed the teams closely and often watched the games with his family. However, what he loved most was those closest to him. He cherished his family and made sure everyone knew it.

In addition to his father, Layne is preceded in death by his sisters, Carolyn Monroe and Marie Lynette Gonzalez; and his step-son, Kyle Jackson.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Diana Lynn Foley; daughters, Chasitie Nicole Hunt, Lauren Elayne Foley, and Sabrina Nicole Foley; grandchildren, Alyson Brooke Hunt, Kylie Jayden Hunt, Jackson Conner Endres, and Keegan Michael Endres; sisters, Melanie Foley, Kimberly McQuade, and Gwendolyn Wells; brother, Bobby Ray Foley, Jr.; and his mother, Loretta Collins.

His final wishes were to be cremated and brought back to his favorite place…home.
