Obituary

Robert "Bob" John Crechale, 70, of Brandon fell asleep into the Lord on December 24, 2025.  Visitation will be held on Monday December 29, 2025 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at Wright and Ferguson funeral home in Clinton.  Services will be held on Tuesday at 10:00am at Holy Trinity St. John the Theologian Greek Orthodox Church, 5725 Pear Orchard Road, Jackson, MS.

Bob Crechale was a proud Jacksonian and owner of Crechale's Restaurant for 55 years.  He was a staple in the community and his church, always welcoming with a smile and a "good to see you".  He was a loving father, husband and friend to all, he never met a stranger.  Bob loved to hunt and to shoot and he loved his dog, Gabriel.  He enjoyed spending every Sunday shooting with his many buddies at the gun club.  He was a black belt in karate and participated and enjoyed martial arts events with his friends.

Bob was preceded in death by, his father, John Paul Crechale and his mother, Bobbie Ann McCain.  He is survived by the mother of his children, Gloria, and his three children, Anderson, Anne Maree and Robert John.  Also surviving is Cristina and his brothers, Paul, Kenneth, Phillip and Michael, his sister Diane Thomas and his extended family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be made to Holy Trinity St. John the Theologian Church, 5725 Pear Orchard Road, Jackson, MS.
