Robert E. Edwards, 68, of Pearl passed away Sunday, December 13, 2020. Visitation will be held from 4pm – 7pm Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home in Flowood. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 9:30 am in the funeral home chapel. Graveside services will be at 2:30pm Thursday at the Biloxi National Cemetery.

Mr. Edwards was born in Kosciusko, MS on September 11, 1952 to the late, Franklin & Louise Edwards. Robert Edwards was a Sargent in the United States Army that served as a door gunner in Vietnam. He spent most of his remaining life as a truck driver. Pappy always had a dollar for the grandkids.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Janice Edwards; and brothers, Gary Edwards of Ocean Springs and Frank Edwards of Hattiesburg.

Mr. Edwards is survived by his wife, Margie Edwards; sons, C.J. Edwards (Jackie) of Memphis, TN and Patrick Edwards (Stephanie) of Booneville, AR; daughter, Crystal Edwards of Pearl, MS; brothers, Charles Edwards (Martha) of Heidelberg, MS and Terry Edwards (Charlotte) of Waynesboro, MS; sister, Vivian Jose (Jerry) of Senatobia, MS; and nine grandchildren.
