Rita Avon Gallagher-Smith, 65, of Jackson, Mississippi passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2022.

Rita's four sons made up the entirety of her world and always treasured time spent with her granddaughter Lilly. She often utilized her gift to paint and enjoyed tending to her flower gardens.

She is survived by her sons, Christian, Daniel (Paige), Jason (Goldie), Jacob (Lissa); grandchildren, Rylan and Lilly; sister, Hilda; cousin, Kay; additionally, she will be missed by her vast extended family and numerous friends.

She is preceded in death by her beloved mother Nell Dye.

No calling hours will be held.
