On Tuesday, March 16, 2021, Reuben Cole "Tommy" Thomas, loving father, grandfather, brother, and partner, passed away at the age of 64.

Tommy was born on August 2nd, 1956 in Vicksburg, MS. He spent most of his life in Jackson, MS where he raised his daughter, Nikki. He was passionate about history and could answer almost any Jeopardy question, even when you thought he was napping. He was so loving and gentle that animals were drawn to him and he loved and cared for them.

Tommy was preceded in death by his father, R.C., and his mother, Thelma. He is survived by his daughter, Nikki Thomas Schmidle, his three grandchildren (Hazel, Monroe, and Ezra) his sister, Christine Langston, and his fiancé, Tami Irby, as well as his brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at Wright & Ferguson in Raymond, MS at 2pm CT.
