Rachel Ruth Roberts Duran, 80 of Brandon, met the one she has loved and served all her life on Monday night, October 12, 2020 in Jackson, MS. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 16, 2020 at Parkway Church in Madison, MS at 7:00pm with Rev. Jerry Wayne Dillon officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. A private graveside service will be held at Lakewood South. Social distancing and mask will be appreciated by both the church and family during the services.

Mrs. Rachel was born January 11, 1940 in Carthage, Mississippi to George and Mary Roberts. She was married to Mr. Charles Duran for 65 years. She was a true and beautiful Christian, loving every one of those around her and especially those charged to her care. She worked with her husband Charles at Duran Homes for many years as their decorator and bookkeeper. She has always had a keen eye for color and beauty.

She is preceded in death by her parents, George & Mary Roberts and brother Mack Roberts.

She is survived by her faithful husband of 65 years, Charles Duran; three children, Eddie (Naomi) Duran of Brandon, MS, Donna (Nate) McClintock of Sachse, TX, and Rochelle (Jeff) Turner of Indianapolis, IN; grandchildren, Zane King, Misty (Mark) Henry, Josh (Emily) Duran, Jade (Jared) Prestonback, Jarred (Niki) Turner, Brittany (Thomas) Booth, and Jane-Claire (Ryan) Wing; 12 great-grandchildren and one sister, Olene Van Krevelen.
