Penny Lynn Winston Boswell, 71, a retiree from Entergy Corp., died Friday, February 23, 2018.
Visitation is at 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at Wright & Ferguson Funeral
Home in Flowood with a memorial service following at 11:30 a.m. in the chapel.
Penny was born August 24, 1946 to W.T. (Bill) Winston and Ethel Pogue Winston of Jackson, MS.
She was married to Allan Boswell of Jackson, MS for 53 years. Penny was a graduate of Mississippi
College and she was a Life Member Bridge Player. Penny and James Tullos sponsored a bridge game for
years at the Jackson Bridge Association. Penny for several years proofread transcripts for Mississippi
would be authors, was an accountant for one of the ÍžBig EightÍŸ accounting firms and at one time day
traded NYSE stock over a wire during the nineties. Penny also crocheted baby blankets for all her
grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Penny was a great loving wife and mother of William Theodore (Tad) Boswell and daughter-in-
law Terri Boswell of Brandon, MS. She was the grandmother of Allan David Boswell, Winston Bradley
Boswell, Virginia Sabrina Boswell and Dee Dee Krupa of Brandon, MS. She was also the great-
grandmother of Bella Anderson and Ava Kruppa.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Jackson Bridge Association or the cancer
research foundation of your choice.
Penny and the family would also like to thank Barbara and Fred Rushton and Ginger Bisek for
their support during her illness.
